woke up today with Lena sitting quietly on the floor, singing.
“Pens, pens, we’re all pens
Lucy is a pen
Lucia is a pen
Ahh-bell is a pen
Ben is a pen
Ka-durn is a pen
Pens pens
one two three
all my pens are here with me”
Pens?
I look up and she’s sitting on the floor with Daisy, naming all of these names (Lucy, Lucia and Annabelle are all from day care). And I’m like…but there are no pens. Why are you naming your pens?
And then, ohhhhhhh…..FRIENDS.
Which totally makes way more sense.
